High-pressure hose joint form and precautions

2022-11-13

At present, high-pressure cleaners have gradually been popularized and applied in various industrial fields in my country, and are gradually expanding. The high-pressure hose in the high-pressure washer assembly is a necessary element to connect the nozzle and the high-pressure pump, and the high-pressure hose is a direct connection component between the pump and the jet unit.
The following mainly introduces the joint form and precautions of the high-pressure hose.
First of all, the joint form of high-pressure hose can generally be divided into internal thread form and external thread form
1) Internal thread form
This structure is generally suitable for occasions with low working pressure and large flow. This connection method allows the diameter of the high-pressure pipe to be appropriately increased, and its sealing mainly depends on the sealing ring.
2) External thread form
This structure is mainly used in the case of high pressure, and the working pressure exceeds 1800bar. This connection method is mostly used for connection. This connection method is to compress the lock nut through the external thread connector, so that the tapered sealing surface of the pipe section and the sealing surface of the connector are closely fitted to play a sealing role. The connector can also be a jet accessory, such as a high-pressure spray gun, a flat cleaning nozzle, a three-dimensional rotating nozzle, etc. , or other high-pressure hoses. This connection method can effectively prevent the connection from loosening under complex construction conditions.

Precautions for high-pressure hose cone sealing
1) The cone angle is 60 degrees, and the cone angle of the pipe end is generally less than 1 degree of the hole cone angle;
2) The position of the pipe end must maintain a sharp angle and must not be blunt;
3) The thread direction between the pipe end and the lock nut should be opposite to that of the external threaded connector;
4) When processing connectors, leak holes should be reserved at the seal to prevent high-pressure water leakage when the tapered surface is not tightly sealed, which can not only serve as a safety warning, but also facilitate observation and judgment, and better protect the sealing surface from damage
